FAQs
- Does the charger have an automatic shut-off feature?
The charge is a smart charger and will shut off automatically when it is fully charged.
- How long does it take to fully charge the battery?
Generally, it takes about 6~8 hours to fully charge the battery.
- Is it a fast charger?
The main factor that affect the charging time is the output charging current. Most of the fast charger in the market doesn’t usually charge the battery faster than others. Plus, A charging current of 2.0A~3.0A is recommended by the battery manufacturers, considering both charging efficiency and battery lifetime.
- Can I leave the charger plugged in for days, or during the whole winter time?
The auto shut-off feature does not disconnect the charger from the battery completely. When at 100% charge, the charger is designed to reduce the current and only allows a very small current to keep the battery at the 100% charged state. A good practice is to unplug the charger when the battery is fully charged and don’t charge the battery for over 10 hours.
